Creating a Book Project
In Storello, a book is structured as a self-contained creative project rather than a loose text document.

On the home dashboard, click the + New Project button in the top right or bottom corner.

Enter your book's working title.

Select your book's primary format (Novel, Novella, Short Story Collection, or Series).

Click Create.
Your project opens immediately with an empty manuscript ready for your first chapter, alongside dedicated tabs for character dossiers, world locations, and plot timelines.
You can change your book's title, cover image, and metadata at any time in the project settings.
