Marketplace Listing Rules

What We Provide

• A dedicated publishing platform: catalog directory, specialist profile page, client inquiry form, and specialist dashboard where you manage details and communicate with authors.
• Manual review of every profile before initial publication — typically within one business day. If adjustments are needed, we provide actionable guidance.
• Authentic client reviews tied strictly to verified projects: an author submits an inquiry or test sample, you accept it, and the author confirms the work took place. Unsolicited random reviews cannot be posted.
• Profile listings are 100% free with 0% platform commission on client agreements.

What We Do Not Do

• We do not process client payments or hold funds in escrow. You negotiate rates, deadlines, and payment methods directly with authors.
• We do not evaluate artistic quality or act as a legal party to your client contracts.
• We do not collect unnecessary identity documents or tax registrations. We are not a payment intermediary and collect only necessary profile data.
• We do not store private client contracts or off-platform communication.

Profile Requirements

• Your real name or established professional pen name.
• Specialization, years of experience, target genres, rates, and turnaround expectations.
• An authentic bio written in your own words — authors select specialists based on craft philosophy and communication style more than rates alone.
• At least one verified contact method. Contact channels are hidden from public web scrapers and visible only to signed-in authors directly on your profile.

Prohibited Content

• Plagiarized portfolio samples, work falsely credited, or third-party photographs.
• Deceptive or unfulfillable promises: guaranteed publishing contracts, bestseller promises, or guaranteed sales figures.
• Unauthorized personal data of third parties: author contact details, real identities, or excerpts from unpublished manuscripts without explicit consent.
• Services unrelated to book creation and prose craftsmanship, as well as prohibited academic ghostwriting (theses, dissertations, essays).
• Harassment, discriminatory language, or abusive communication — whether in public bios or private author correspondence.

Verification and Delisting

We review profiles thoroughly before initial publication. Once approved, future profile updates take effect immediately without requiring re-verification. We conduct occasional spot checks.

We reserve the right to unpublish profiles that violate these guidelines, misrepresent credentials, or generate verified author complaints. We always email an explanation prior to or upon delisting.

How to Delist or Delete Your Profile

In your specialist dashboard, at the bottom of the page, two options are available:

• Pause Listing — temporarily hides your profile from the directory. You will not receive new incoming inquiries, while your reviews, ratings, and approval status remain preserved. You can unpause anytime without re-approval.
• Delete Profile — permanently removes your profile, photo, bio, portfolio works, and client reviews. This action is irreversible. Your Storello user account and personal book drafts remain completely intact.

Deleting your profile serves as an immediate withdrawal of consent to directory publication.

Client Reviews

Reviews can only be submitted by authors who submitted an inquiry or sample request and confirmed project completion. One order, one review. We moderate reviews to filter out harassment, defamation, personal contact details, or irrelevant commentary.

Reviews reflect the client's authentic assessment of collaboration. We do not remove reviews simply because they are critical. If you believe a review is fraudulent, contact our team with supporting documentation.

Inquiries and Dispute Resolution

You can reach our team directly via Telegram to resolve profile disputes, review questions, or data removal requests. We respond within several business days.
